Why ‘magma’?
Billions of years ago, magical processes took place in the depths of our planet - stones were born: diamonds, sapphires, rubies and all others known to mankind. During volcanic eruptions, magma carried them closer to the surface, where people still find them. The idea of such a journey of precious minerals became the prototype of this collection. The bends and folds of the metal, the pores and the randomness of the metal texture - like magma, embrace and bring to the surface shiny and colored gems. The technology of creating the collection is also symbolic - the metal is casted directly onto the stones rather than setting them into a finished piece.
