Margit Paulin
“For me, jewelry is a worthy gift to one's mind.”
Margit Paulin
MARGIT PAULIN, who initially built a career in the financial field, made a bold turn in her life and, since 2012, holds a degree at Jewellery Arts. She furthered her goldsmithing skills at the Lahti University of Applied Sciences in Finland and studied gemstones at the American Institute of Gemmology. As an artist, she is passionate in finding the meaningful forms and moments and expressing them in her jewelry. Her work often explores the details of nature and combines boldly different materials.
Based in the middle of West Estonia's wilderness, her inspiration is drawn from the silence of the forests, the sounds of the sea, and the magical stories of life. She skillfully combines precious metals with various minerals and loves working with wood. Her jewelry is made purely by hand, from metal melting, casting, rolling, modeling, and finally polishing.
