The door to the wonderful world of precious stones is opened by jewelry artist, certified gemmologist, and world traveler Rita-Livia Erikson, who started learning the faceting of stones in the United States and then continued working in the same field in a ruby mine in Mozambique.
She became a certified gemmologist in the heart of the colored stone world, Bangkok, where she studied at the Gemmological Institute of America (GIA). During her studies, the artist first delved into the in-depth knowledge and identification of various precious stones used in jewelry, and then also diamonds.
During this rare and exceptional training,"Coloured stones: from rock crystal to ruby" - rubies, sapphires, and beryls, including emeralds, spinels, garnets, tourmalines, chrysoberyls, zircons, peridots, quartz, topazes, and tanzanites -will be covered in depth. After completing this training, you will have the knowledge to care for, appreciate, and select these enchanting materials, depending on the colour and budget, whether it is an engagement ring or a pair of everyday earrings.
