and environmentally conscious approach of jewelry designer Kairi Lentsius.
Her father, Mart Lentsius - a skilled craftsman - also assists in the creation of these pieces.
What makes the Sunlit collection truly special is its innovative PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating of titanium carbonitride (TiCN).
Sunlit shines as if ignited by the sun, appearing just like gold jewelry - even though it isn’t made of gold!
Developed in close collaboration with engineers from TalTech and the Fractory, this material is
exceptionally durable, hypoallergenic, and leaves a smaller environmental footprint than mined gold.
Furthermore, this titanium-based "gold" finish is significantly more resilient than traditional gold plating.
Titanium requires no special maintenance -
the golden surface is resistant to both abrasion and tarnishing.
You can confidently wear Sunlit jewelry in the shower, the sauna, or at the beach.
The same technology is used, for instance, to manufacture moving parts for wristwatches - components designed to last for decades!
