Stuudio VAADE A

Martin Ivask, the author of the works by Stuudio VAADE A, has been drawing since as young as he remembers and has been involved in architectural graphics in one way or another for more than half of his life.

Martin graduated from the Department of Architecture at the Estonian Academy of Arts and then worked for a long time in the field of architectural 3D visualization. His work as a graphic designer and photographer has also always been closely related to architecture.
The current series of works is therefore a natural continuation of a long-standing interest in architecture and its ways of depicting it.

Studio VAADE A focuses on Estonian architecture in its historical and stylistic diversity, examining the space that surrounds us every day from a slightly different angle than usual.

Depicting familiar buildings in the style of architectural drawings invites the viewer to look at and discover space with a new look and to notice details, patterns and forms that one might not always notice.
